Ben Cramer is a tax attorney who focuses his practice on helping businesses, business owners, and individuals resolve tax disputes and structure their financial lives to avoid problems and maximize their tax benefits.
Prior to starting his own firm, Ben worked as an associate in the business litigation practice group of a large firm in Cincinnati where he handled appellate litigation, government law, and business disputes.
After graduating law school, he spent a year clerking for a federal trial judge in Washington, DC, and two years with a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ben previously taught appellate practice as an adjunct assistant professor of law and is admitted to practice law in Ohio and the District of Columbia, along with the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and a number of federal courts.
Ben is very active with the Cincinnati Bar Association. He serves as Chair of the CBA’s Taxation Committee and is Vice Chair of its Solo & Small Firm Committee. He is also a member of the Section Counsel for the Ohio State Bar Association’s Solo, Small Firms and General Practice Committee. He is a member of the American Bar Association and was appointed to the ABA’s Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division’s subcommittee on Taxation.
Ben lives in Mt. Washington with his wife and son.
